The Maison

FOPE was founded in 1929 when Umberto Cazzola opened a goldsmith's workshop in Vicenza, Italy, where he created the Novecento mesh, a supple gold weave that drapes rather than rattles. Flex'it followed: a patented system of tiny 18K gold springs set between the links, so a bracelet flexes over the wrist and returns to shape without a hook or clasp. FOPE jewellery is made in Italy in 18K gold, designed and produced in-house, which places it in fine jewellery rather than fashion jewellery. At La Maison Monaco, FOPE comes from the authorized channel and carries the maker's guarantee.
