LA MAISON
La Maison Monaco, formerly known as Monaco Jewellers, a family owned business, originated in 1995 as a modest retail establishment specializing in commercial watches and jewelry. The organization maintained an unwavering commitment to its vision for expansive growth, aspiring to pursue its passion for luxury.
Over time, the company experienced significant expansion, transitioning from its initial focus to becoming purveyors of medium-level watch and jewelry brands. The strategic objective was not only to increase the number of retail outlets but also to elevate the quality of these establishments by carrying prestigious brands.
In 2019, The Monaco Group had the opportunity to move into a higher category and open our first OMEGA boutique at the Rideau Center in Ottawa. This marked the pivotal moment when Monaco Jewellers evolved into La Maison Monaco, a distinct name for its luxury boutiques. In 2020, amid the challenges posed by the global pandemic, the company opened its second La Maison Monaco boutique in Quebec City at Place Ste-Foy, featuring renowned brands such as OMEGA and Breitling. Establishing enduring partnerships with industry leaders such as the Swatch Group and LVMH, particularly with TAG Heuer for over two decades, culminated in the launch of Canada's first franchised TAG Heuer boutique in Ottawa in February 2023, with exclusive rights to the brand in the region.
