Tirisi is a Dutch design house, founded in 2010 in the Netherlands, and its jewellery is made in Italy. The design is Dutch and the goldsmithing is Italian, so Tirisi is best described as Dutch-designed and Italian-made rather than simply Italian.

Is Tirisi jewellery solid gold?

Yes. Every Tirisi piece we list is 18K gold, in rose, yellow or white, not gold-plated or gold-filled. Rose gold makes up most of the range. Solid 18K gold keeps its colour and can be re-polished. Gold colour and stones are listed on each product page.

What is tubogas jewellery?

Tubogas is a goldsmithing technique in which a flat strip of gold is wound into a flexible, gas-pipe-like tube with no visible seam. It makes bangles and necklaces that bend smoothly with the body. Tirisi uses it in its Amsterdam line, which is our largest Tirisi collection.

The Maison

Tirisi is a Dutch design house founded in 2010 in the Netherlands by a couple, Natascha and Julian, who paired a designer's eye with traditional gold craft. The pieces are designed in the Netherlands and made in Italy, so a Tirisi bangle carries Dutch design and Italian goldsmithing. The collections are named after cities: Amsterdam, Milano, Venice, Monte Carlo, Fiji and Seoul. Amsterdam, the broadest line, uses tubogas, a flexible tube-of-gold construction that moves like fabric, and grumetta links. Tirisi works in 18K gold, mostly rose gold in our range, rather than plated or lower-karat metal.
