418-656-6657Breitling watches at La Maison Monaco cost from $4,250 to $78,750 CAD, with a median near $8,750. By line, the Chronomat and Navitimer start at $5,800, the Avenger at $5,900, the Superocean at $6,700 and the Superocean Heritage at $6,750. Price depends on the reference, case material and complications.
The circular slide rule on the Navitimer's bezel lets a pilot do flight calculations such as speed, fuel consumption and unit conversions, working with the chronograph. Breitling introduced it in 1952 for aviators. We carry 26 Navitimer references from $5,800 to $78,750 CAD, and the slide rule is the line's defining feature.
Choose the Superocean for diving; it is Breitling's dedicated dive line, with a unidirectional bezel and 300 m or more of water resistance. The Avenger is an oversized pilot's watch, also rated 300 m or more, built first for legibility and hard use. Our 19 Superocean references run from $6,700 to $9,950 CAD, and our 12 Avenger references from $5,900 to $9,300.
Breitling submits its mechanical watches to COSC, the independent Swiss testing institute, for chronometer certification. Of our 139 Breitling watches, 120 are automatic, and many of the chronographs, such as the Navitimer B01, use Manufacture Caliber 01, the self-winding in-house movement Breitling has made since 2009. The movement type is listed on each product page.
Yes. As an authorized Breitling dealer, we sell every watch with Breitling's manufacturer warranty. The product page shows whether a watch is in stock in one of our 15 boutiques in Quebec and Ontario, available to order from Breitling when the brand supplies the reference, or out of stock. Servicing is arranged through our boutiques.
The Maison
Breitling was founded in 1884 by Léon Breitling in Saint-Imier, in the Swiss Jura, as a workshop specializing in chronographs and precision counters for industry, science, and sport. Under his successors the brand turned to aviation: in 1934 Breitling patented the independent chronograph pushpiece that became the modern start-stop-reset standard, and through the 1930s and 1940s it equipped aircraft cockpits with onboard instruments. That aviation pedigree produced the watch Breitling is best known for. The Navitimer, launched in 1952, carried a circular slide rule on its bezel that let pilots compute fuel burn, climb rate, and unit conversions in flight, and it was adopted by the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. The Superocean followed in 1957 as Breitling's answer to underwater timing, extending the brand from the cockpit to the ocean. A defining modern milestone came in 2009, when Breitling introduced the in-house Caliber 01, a self-winding chronograph movement built entirely by the manufacture, ending its reliance on outside chronograph calibres. Breitling submits its mechanical watches to COSC for chronometer certification, the independent Swiss test of accuracy. That combination of aviation heritage, in-house chronograph engineering and certified precision is why Breitling is one of the main chronograph brands in our selection.
