What is the Tissot Lovely?

The Tissot Lovely is Tissot's petite, jewellery-like ladies' quartz line, made as the 19.5 mm Lovely and Lovely Round and the 20 x 20 mm Lovely Square. Tissot presents it as a tribute to its small ladies' watches of the 1960s. Every Lovely runs on a Swiss Made quartz movement, so it needs no winding. Almost all of ours are dress watches, and every one has a stainless steel case.

How small is the Tissot Lovely, and will it fit my wrist?

The Tissot Lovely is 19.5 mm across in the round version and 20 x 20 mm in the square, so it sits as a small, delicate watch on the wrist. Tissot says the Square is meant to be worn loosely, like a piece of jewellery. For a larger face, the Tissot Bellissima starts at 26 mm. Tissot lists a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal on both shapes, and most of our Lovely watches come on a steel bracelet, with a few on leather straps. Trying one on in a boutique is the surest way to judge the fit.

Is the Tissot Lovely water-resistant, and what is it made of?

Tissot rates the Lovely to 3 bar (30 m), which covers handwashing and rain but not swimming or showering. Every Lovely we carry has a stainless steel case, and where a model has gold or rose tones, they come from PVD coating on the steel, not solid gold. Dials include silver, blue, white and mother-of-pearl, with a few in red, green or beige, and some models are set with diamonds.
