OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M

Authorized OMEGA Retailer in Canada

Overview

The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M is Omega's best-known dive watch: 300 m of water resistance, a rotating ceramic bezel, a helium escape valve and a wave-pattern dial, worn by James Bond since 1995. Most references are 42 mm automatic models, over half in steel, with chronographs and special editions above them. Prices run from about $8,200 to $225,600 CAD at La Maison Monaco, an authorized Omega dealer in Canada, with most between $8,200 and $45,800 and limited editions higher. About 20 are in stock and about 17 more are available to order.

Which Diver 300M should I choose?

The Seamaster Diver 300M in 42 mm steel is the classic, on a steel bracelet or a rubber strap. The Diver 300M Chronograph adds a dive chronograph in a larger case, and special editions such as the 007 Edition, the Nekton Edition and the America's Cup models bring their own materials and colours. Steel-and-gold and titanium versions complete the range. Omega launched the Diver 300M in 1993, and James Bond first wore it in GoldenEye in 1995.

What movement is in the Diver 300M?

Every Diver 300M we carry is automatic. Current models use Omega's Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibres, certified by METAS for accuracy and resistance to magnetic fields, and most show the movement through a sapphire caseback. The helium escape valve at 10 o'clock has been part of the line since its launch and is built for saturation divers.

Frequently asked questions

How much is an Omega Seamaster Diver 300M in Canada?

The Diver 300M runs from about $8,200 CAD in steel to about $53,400 CAD for gold references, with limited editions higher, up to $225,600. Chronographs and special editions sit above the standard steel models. Every price is in Canadian dollars, and each watch is new with the Omega manufacturer warranty.

Is the Omega Diver 300M a real dive watch?

Yes. It is rated to 300 m, meets the ISO 6425 standard for diver's watches, and has a rotating ceramic bezel, a screw-down crown and a helium escape valve. That is far beyond the 40 m limit of recreational scuba diving, so it also suits everyday wear.

Is the Diver 300M the James Bond watch?

Yes. James Bond has worn a Seamaster Diver 300M since GoldenEye in 1995, and Omega makes 007 Edition references of the watch. The 007 Edition is a distinct reference with its own dial and details, so check its availability on the product page.

Omega Diver 300M or Planet Ocean?

The Diver 300M is the classic 42 mm Seamaster diver with its wave dial and 300 m rating. The Planet Ocean is larger, rated to 600 m, and has a bolder, more technical look. Choose the Diver 300M for an everyday dive watch, and the Planet Ocean for more presence and depth.

What size is the Omega Diver 300M?

Most Diver 300M references are 42 mm, which suits most wrists. The chronograph and some special editions are larger. We can put the size on your wrist at any of our boutiques, so you can judge the fit before you buy.

Is the Omega Diver 300M in stock?

It depends on the reference. Some Diver 300M models are in stock at our boutiques, and the others are available to order from Omega, which we place for you. The product page shows which applies. Every watch is new and priced in CAD.
