The Hamilton Jazzmaster is Hamilton's dress collection: refined, slim cases, polished details and dials with more character than a classic dress watch, from the Open Heart that shows the balance wheel to the Viewmatic and the Performer. Every Jazzmaster we carry is automatic, in steel, on leather or a bracelet, from about 34 to 43 mm. Which Jazzmaster should I choose?

The Jazzmaster Viewmatic Auto is the classic: a clean three-hand dress watch. The Open Heart Auto opens the dial to show the beating balance wheel, and it also comes as the smaller Open Heart Lady. The Performer Auto has a slightly sportier, more architectural case, and the Day Date, Power Reserve and Auto Chrono add complications for buyers who want more on the dial. Blue dials are the most common here, alongside black, silver and white.

What movement is in the Jazzmaster?

Every Jazzmaster we carry is automatic. Most models use Hamilton's Swiss-made calibres with about 80 hours of power reserve, and the chronographs use an automatic chronograph calibre. All have a sapphire crystal, and many show the movement through a display caseback.
