Meisterstück Romeo & Juliet Classique Fountain Pen

William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet have gained immortality as the embodiment of unconditional love unto death. The story of the two lovers, who perish due to the enmity between their families, is to this day one of the most pertinent and moving literary works ever written. The Montblanc Meisterstück Romeo and Juliet collection is dedicated to this milestone in world literature. The Classique Fountain Pen is dedicated to Juliet and takes her lover’s famous plea 'O, speak again, bright angel!' as the inspiration for the pattern of feathered angel’s wings on the cap. The resin edition combines ivory-coloured precious resin and signature gold-coated fittings. The handcrafted nib, made of solid Au 585 gold bears a highly symbolic embossing: the name ‘Juliet’ immortalised within a heart pierced by a dagger and framed by star-like rays.
