High Artistry The World of Cinema Limited Edition 333 Fountain Pen

Cinema was born in 1895 with the invention of the cinematograph, a fascinating apparatus that connected still images in a seamlessmotion sequence. The peak of the silent film era in the 1920s. At that time, films were still a silent symphony of black and white images. The development of the three-colour Technicolor process in the early 1930s allowed for the first time scenes to be captured in their full visual magnificence. An even more painstaking and elaborate process was the creation of animated films, which were made entirely by hand, creating a succession of individual drawings. But the enthusiasm of the audience made the effort worthwhile. At last, the comic strip characters already known and loved through newspaper strips were brought to life in vivid colours. The fascination with colour encouraged by animated films shaped the development of cinema. It is also reflected in the design of the High Artistry The World of Cinema Limited Edition 333. Based on the Meisterstück 149 shape, it is adorned with multiple colours.
