Questions about Montblanc

How much is a Montblanc watch in Canada?

Montblanc watches at La Maison Monaco run from $4,300 to $89,000 CAD, and 29 of our 41 watches are $8,000 or less. The $89,000 piece is a limited-edition Minerva chronograph. Prices are in Canadian dollars and include the full Montblanc warranty.

Are Montblanc watches Swiss made?

Yes. Montblanc watches are made in Switzerland, at Le Locle and at the Minerva manufacture in Villeret, which has been part of Montblanc since 2006. Every Montblanc watch at La Maison Monaco is a new Swiss watch sold with the full manufacturer warranty.

Which Montblanc watch collection should I choose?

Choose the Star Legacy for a classical dress watch, the Iced Sea for a dive watch with 100 m to 300 m or more of water resistance, and the 1858 for a field or mountaineering style with GMT and chronograph options. The Bohème is the women’s line, in 30 and 34 mm.

What is Montblanc 0 Oxygen?

On 0 Oxygen models, Montblanc removes the oxygen from inside the case. This prevents fogging when the temperature changes and protects the movement from oxidation, which is why the technology is used on its dive and mountaineering watches.

What case sizes do Montblanc watches come in?

Most of our Montblanc watches are 40 to 43 mm: 23 of 41 fall in that range, and 14 are 42 to 43 mm. The Bohème is smaller, at 30 and 34 mm. Our boutique staff can help you try a size on the wrist before you decide.

Is La Maison Monaco an authorized Montblanc retailer?

Yes. La Maison Monaco is an authorized Montblanc retailer in Canada, with a Montblanc boutique at Royalmount in Montreal. Every watch is sold new with the full Montblanc warranty and priced in CAD, and most are available to order.

The Maison

Montblanc began with the pen in Hamburg in 1906, and moved into watchmaking in Switzerland in the late 1990s. In 2006 the Minerva manufacture, founded in Villeret in 1858 and known for its chronographs, joined Montblanc, giving the 1858 collection its name and the maison its own traditional movements. Today Montblanc watches are made at Le Locle and Villeret, and its 0 Oxygen technology removes oxygen from the case of many models to keep the dial free of fogging and the movement free of oxidation.
