Questions about Hublot

How much does a Hublot watch cost in Canada?

Hublot watches at La Maison Monaco cost from $8,241 to $313,000 CAD. Classic Fusion runs $8,241 to $23,100, Big Bang $15,300 to $60,600 and Spirit of Big Bang $22,100 to $141,000. Titanium models start at $8,241 and ceramic at $13,200, while tourbillons start at $149,000. Flexiti financing is available on approved credit.

Hublot Big Bang or Classic Fusion: which should I choose?

Choose the Classic Fusion if you want a slimmer, cleaner watch for daily wear, from $8,241 and available from 33 mm. Choose the Big Bang if you want the brand's recognizable layered case with exposed screws, often with a chronograph, from $15,300. Both come in titanium and ceramic.

What is Hublot's Art of Fusion?

The Art of Fusion is Hublot's design philosophy of combining materials that are not usually paired, such as gold with rubber, ceramic with carbon or titanium with sapphire. It began with the 1980 gold-and-rubber original. Today it extends to Hublot's own coloured ceramics, King Gold and Magic Gold.

What is the Hublot UNICO movement?

UNICO is Hublot's in-house automatic chronograph calibre. It is a column-wheel movement with a flyback function and a 72-hour power reserve, used in models such as the Big Bang Unico and the Spirit of Big Bang. It is one of the reasons Hublot is described as a manufacture.

Does a Hublot hold its value?

Treat a Hublot as a watch to wear, not an investment. Resale values vary with the model, the material, the condition and whether the box and papers are included. If resale matters to you, ask one of our specialists about a specific reference before buying.

Are Hublot watches in stock, and is La Maison Monaco an authorized dealer?

Yes, we are an authorized Hublot dealer in Canada, so each watch comes from the brand with the Hublot manufacturer warranty. Hublot references are generally ordered in rather than held in stock: a specialist confirms your delivery date before the order ships. Flexiti financing is available on approved credit.

The Maison

Hublot was founded in Switzerland in 1980 by Carlo Crocco. Its name is the French word for porthole, echoed in a bezel held by exposed screws. Crocco's first watch paired a gold case with a rubber strap, the starting point of what the brand calls the Art of Fusion. Jean-Claude Biver took over in 2004, and the Big Bang followed in 2005 as the brand's flagship. Hublot now develops its own materials, including coloured ceramics, King Gold and Magic Gold, a scratch-resistant 18-karat gold alloy. Its in-house UNICO calibre is an automatic column-wheel flyback chronograph with a 72-hour power reserve.
