How much is a Montblanc pen in Canada?

Montblanc pens at La Maison Monaco start at $600 CAD for a StarWalker and $690 for a Meisterstück, and run up to $11,900 for the Meisterstück line, with limited editions higher. Prices are in Canadian dollars and every pen carries the full Montblanc warranty.

What is the difference between the Meisterstück and the StarWalker?

The Meisterstück is Montblanc's classic pen, in black precious resin with the white star on the cap, made since 1924. The StarWalker is the contemporary line, with the emblem in a transparent dome and a lower entry price, from $600 CAD.

Which Montblanc pen should I choose as a gift?

A Meisterstück rollerball or ballpoint is the usual first choice: it has no ink bottle to fill and carries the classic white-star design. A fountain pen suits someone who already writes by hand. Our boutique staff can help you compare weight, nib size and finish in person.

The Maison

Montblanc was founded in 1906 in Hamburg, Germany, and took its name from Mont Blanc, the highest peak in the Alps: the white star emblem represents its snow-capped summit, and the number 4810 on many nibs marks its height in metres. The Meisterstück, German for masterpiece, arrived in 1924 and remains in production a century later, with the Meisterstück 149 fountain pen as its flagship. From the pen, the maison grew into leather goods made in its own workshops, carrying the same white star.
