The Pilot's Watch Automatic 41 Black Aces takes inspiration from a model IWC developed within the Professional Pilot's Watches Program for members of Strike Fighter Squadron 41, known as the 'Black Aces.' The timepiece features a 41-millimeter case made of hard and scratch-resistant black zirconium oxide ceramic and a custom-made white, fully luminous dial. Developed in collaboration with 'Black Aces' pilots, the dial enables unparalleled visibility at night. The squadron patch, resembling the black ace of spades from a card deck, is imprinted at 6 o'clock. The titanium case back features an engraving of the squadron's jet against a backdrop of spades. The watch is powered by the IWC-manufactured 32100 calibre with automatic winding and a 3-day power reserve. A soft-iron inner case protects the movement from the effects of magnetic fields, and the front glass is specially secured against displacement by sudden drops in air pressure. Water-resistant to 6 bar, this timepiece is fitted with a black textile strap and a sand-blasted stainless steel pin buckle.
